Vietnamese

Vietnamese is the official language of Vietnam and is spoken by around 75 million people. It is a tonal language, which means that the meaning of a word can change depending on the tone it is spoken in. Vietnamese is also a very concise language, with most words having only one or two syllables.

Vietnamese has a rich history, and has been influenced by both Chinese and French. The Vietnamese alphabet is based on the Latin alphabet, and was developed in the 17th century by Catholic missionaries.

Learning Vietnamese can be a great way to connect with the culture and people of Vietnam. It can also be a useful language to learn for business or travel.
